I teach the way I wish I’d been taught.
Guitarist, gigging musician, and a BSc in Music Technology from the University of Hertfordshire. I live in Grasse and still do the two things I have always done: playing, and recording.

For parents
Checks. I hold a clear French criminal record extract (bulletin n°3) and a clear UK police certificate (ACRO), covering my time in both countries. I am happy to show either — just ask, and I will bring them to the first lesson.
How lessons with children work: in your home, with a parent at home or nearby — that is the default, not the exception. All communication goes through you, never private messages with a child. You get a short note after each lesson saying what we did and what to practise. No photos or video of your child without your written say-so. Professional liability insurance is in force.
A note on language
Lessons are in English. Most of my students are international-school families, expats, or visitors who would rather learn in the language they think in. My French is a work in progress — my students seem to enjoy that we are both learning something.
